Constructivist film magazine Soviet Screen / Советский Экран was a weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. The cover and centrefold depict stills from the Uzbekistan movie "Covered Wagon". Articles include "Nihilists from the ARK" by N Yakovlev with a caricature by E Kleyn, "A New Masterpiece of Bourgeois Cinema" by Lunacharsky, "Make Up" by S Guskov, cartoon characters Felix the Cat, Silent Sam (Adamson), and Bonzo the Dog in an article by Lizaveta Koltz, with pictures by E Mikulina, an image of a lady by Art Messerer, and an article "Cinema Viewer in Azerbaijan". Published by "Tea Kino Pechat", 1928. Fair condition, repaired paper loss on the cover, staining, tears, repaired tears, browning, pencil marks. 14 pages.
