Soviet Photography, issue No. 11 - June 1930.  This was the only specialist photography magazine in the Soviet Union. It was published monthly with exceptions being double issues in some years and during 1929 and 1930 when it was published twice a month. Founded by the writer and editor Mikhail Kotsov in April 1926, it was published in Moscow, Russia, from 1926 to 1991. The magazine promoted the 'worker photographer' and the official photographic culture of the USSR, though it also carried examples of state-sanctioned international photography. This issue contains photographs by the various photographers, such as N Tatarchenko, N Nikolin, A Rushkovsky, A Skurihin, A Vyatkin, N Kudryashov, Z Chebotaev, A Efemov, E Brizgalin. Acceptable condition. Rubbings and tears on the spine and margins. Dust staining and rubbings on the front and back covers. Library stamp on the back cover. Published by "Ogonek", 1930.
