Prozhektor № 2 (120), Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, published 8 January 1928. Prozhektor was published in Moscow as a supplement to the newspaper Pravda in 1923-1935. Contains a great drawing by I Nikitchenko of a 'city in the future' with tall constructivist style skyscrapers and aircraft flying between the buildings. Also includes an obituary and portrait of Vladimir Bekhterev, the Russian neurologist who noted the link between the hippocampus and memory, and an article about scientific experiments conducted on monkeys. An article about Marc Chagall is accompanied by reproductions of his artwork (Flowers, 1927; no title from the Circus series, 1927; Acrobat, 1926. Very good condition, foxing, staining.
