See USSR Intourist Posters And The Marketing Of The Soviet Union

Published in association with the exhibition "See USSR" organised by GRAD, June 7 -August 31. Poster art and other publication of Intourist, the state monopoly for "cultured tourism" in the USSR, offer a beguiling alternative image of the Soviet Union. The compelling graphics, historic textiles and authoritative essays in this GRAD publication explore both image and reality.
