A photograph of Erwin Piscator the German theatre director who moved to Moscow in 1931 on the front cover. Articles inside include ‘Routine Problems’ which recounts the Soviet journey over the past three years, and another feature ‘About Fellow Travellers’. List of artwork inside: a selection of photographs on ‘M Gorky and Theatre’ of his 1901 play ‘The Philistines’; photographic portraits from the productions of ‘Hamlet’, ‘Eric the 14th’ and ‘A Cricket in the Stove’. Fair condition, pages 3-4 have been ripped out, the top edge of pages 5-6 and 7-8 are torn, part of an ink stamp on the top right corner of the back cover. 49 pages.
