Constructivist magazine Soviet Theatre, issue number 7, July, 1931. Printed in Moscow by Pravda publishers. Monthly magazine on recent developments on theatre in the USSR. On the front cover is a photograph of A. Koonen starring in the role of Moorka in ‘The Line of Fire’, on the back cover ‘The Red Fleet Number’ by the agitprop theatre collective Blue Blouse. On the inside are more photographs from ‘The Line of Fire’ at the Moscow Chamber Theatre. Articles inside include ‘A Small Amount of Form - A Large Amount of Artwork’ and ‘To Call a Shock Worker’. List of artwork inside: photographs from the play ‘Six of the Worlds’; a photograph from the Women’s Creation Theatre production of ‘Dolls’ about the puppet theatre; photographs from more Blue Blouse productions including ‘Hi’; set designs for ‘Fear’ by N. Akimov. Very good condition, faint stains on the front cover, an original address label stuck to the back cover. 33 pages.
