The front cover features a photograph of Maxim Gorky, a Russian writer, and political activist with the inscription Greetings to Alexei Maksimovich! (Gorky's real name). The issue includes articles about the Moscow Art Theatre; the development of proletarian literature; theatrical figures Vishnevsky and Meyerhold; the play The Last Decisive; the theatre artist N. Akimov, accompanied by his drawings and costume sketches, and photographs. 33 pages. Poor condition, pages are loose, tears on the cover and some pages, browning.
