Original vintage Constructivist film magazine Soviet Screen Sovetsky Ekran #39,December 25th 1925. It was a weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. The back cover features the poster of the film The Hard Years by Aleksandr Razumny,a Soviet film director and screenwriter. This issue includes articles about the production of the movie and its review,about the actor Ivan Moskvin and poems,accompanied by photos and drawings by Golts,P. Galadzhev and S. Yutkevich. What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
