The front and back covers feature photographs of actors from the film Abrek Zaur, a 1926 Soviet silent Red Western directed by Boris Mikhin. the issue includes articles about the role of films critique; film The Decembrists, a 1927 Soviet silent historical drama film directed by Aleksandr Ivanovsky; about films in America with photographs of actor Jackie Coogan, American director James Cruze, Vilma Banky, a Hungarian-American silent film actress, actor Harold Lloyd; the death of Aleksandr Ivanov-Gaj, a Soviet director and screenwriter; The Trypillia Tragedy, a 1926 Soviet drama film by Alexander Anoschenko-Anoda; photo portraits of Umar Mukimov, director of the Uzbek State Cinematography, cameraman Lemke, director Anoshchenko, screenwriter Bulakh, director M.
