Published by the French publishing house Mirambeau,the preface is written by General M Valin. The volume is divided into various chapters with titles such as 'The Passion of the allies','The Sky of the Empire' and 'From City to City,From Continent to Continent'. List of artwork inside: illustrations on most pages,the occasional painting of a plane. Good condition,front cover and spine frayed,repaired with sellotape. Rip in back cover. Inside pages in excellent condition. 108 pages.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
