First issue of art magazine "Hotel for travellers in beauty". This publication was designed to convey to reader's attention the latest research of imaginists in the field of the philosophy of art and highlight some of the current political and general cultural issues. The journal widely presents problematic and polemical articles on the role of poetry and art in the modern literary and social process,editors devoted a great deal of attention to the issues of national self-determination of art and the question of the relationship and cultural dialogue between Russia and Europe. Constructivist cover. Illustrations are by G Yakulov,Russian and Soviet avant-garde artist and A Osmerkin,Russian and Soviet painter,graphic artist,stage designer and art teacher. Contributors to the magazine included such notable writers as O. Mandelshtam,S. Esenin,P. Kuznetsov,A. Mariengof,B. Glubokovsky,V. Sokolov,A. Tairov,A. Toporkov,N. Erdman and G.Yakulov. Executive editor is N. Savkin. Published by "Volnitsa" publishers,fairly small edition of 2000 copies. Poor condition,back cover and last pages is detached. Frayed pages,creases,staining,tears and loss of materials on margins and the spine. Sticker and pencil handwriting on the first page of the magazine.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
