Original vintage magazine Italie Voyages Monthly Tourist Review by ENIT and State Railways published in French / Revue Touristique Mensuelle de l'ENIT et des Chemins de fer de l'Etat,March 1935 XIII,3rd Year Number 5. The cover features the map of Italy with Sardinia and Sicily islands cut out from a photo of a blossoming tree,oranges and flowers with white lettering. The volume includes articles about Libya which was colonized by Italy in 1911 and where Franco-Italian Agreement of 1935 took place on the 7th of January 1935 featuring photographs of Tripoli views; Milan International Fair from April 12 to 27 with panorama photos of city and people; The Rome Quadriennale which is is a foundation for the promotion of contemporary Italian art featuring works by Arturo Dazzi,Adolescente and Gino Severini,Nature morte; Le Gran Sasso,a ski resort on Campo Imperatore. There are big spreads with photographs of the fountains of Rome: Fountain of the Naiads,Fiumi Fountain,Trevi Fountain,Turtle Fountain; war weather in winter on the south of Italy in Naples,Sicily and Capri with photographs of Bordighera,Alassio,Capri and Sicily; University courses for foreigners in Florence with photos of the statue of Strength and Gypsotheque; Simplon,a town on the North of Italy and the rout through Liguria,Lake Maggiore,Lombardy,Milan,Bologne to Rome. Photomontage map of Italy with a railway route scheme. Soft paperback binding,the volume consists of 20 pages. Good condition,minor tears on corners of pages,light staining on the cover.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
