La Porcelaine de la Manufacture D'etat talks about history and artistry of porcelain in USSR. Written by Eric Collerbach. Iluustrated by J. Roehrberg and S Chekhonin,who was Russian graphic artist and portrait miniaturist,ceramicist,artist of applied and monumental-decorative art. He was a member of the artistic association "World of Art" and a student of I. Ye. Repin. The author of Soviet symbols (including the coat of arms of the RSFSR,the stamp of the Council of People's Commissars). He served as artistic director of the State Porcelain Factory in Leningrad in 1918–1923,and again in 1925–1927. Contains 49 balck and white reproductions of porcelain works and 8 pages with tipped in colour reproductions. Published by Mospetschat,with small edition of 750 copies. this copy is #107. Good condition. Guilt leather embossed spine,contemporary rebound cover,original covers not attained. Dust staining. Rubbings and minor loss of material on the spine. 53 pages.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
