Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon (1875-1958) was a Russian and Soviet painter,landscape master,theatre artist,art theorist. Academician of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1947),People's Artist of the USSR (1950),Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the first degree (1943). List of this issue's artwork included illustrations by R Frents. Rudolf Rudolfovich Frents was a Soviet and Russian painter,watercolourist,graphic artist,illustrator,and art teacher who lived and worked in Leningrad. He was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists and one of the founders of the Leningrad school of painting,most famous for his battle and monumental painting. Good condition. Slight rubbings.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
