Printed by Ernest Benn ltd. in 1929. Fair condition,edges of the book are slightly curved. Name of the book and author is stamped in gilt on the spine of the book. Cancelled library stamp on a flyleaf. Sixth illustration is detached. Pages are frayed. Pencil remarks and a sticker on inside back cover. 376 pages.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
