Prozhektor #49 1928
Prozhektor is Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine,published in Moscow as a supplement to the newspaper Pravda in 1923-1935 . Issue #49 (16),dated 2 December 1928. the issue includes an article titled 'Ten Years of the Fight for Emancipation and Freedom of Working Women' with photos of women at conferences,and working as engineers,midwives and in shops. Also includes an article titled 'Workers of the Ruhr are Betrayed But Not Beaten',a story called 'The Russian Soul',and a feature on Madrid. The issue contains satirical drawings and cartoons by a range of artists such as M Babichenko,Kukryniksy,and Y Ganf. Very good condition,tear on cover,minor foxing,staples are rusted.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
