The issue includes articles on the preparations for the summer season; the production of the play Third Front with the illustrations by Rochergin; musical novelties; quartet competition; Academic Maly Opera Theatre; international play productions; drama workshops at different workplaces; the role of cinema and its place in other arts,and its goals; various theatres and film reviews. Published by the publishing house Leningradskij Gublit,printed by Krasnaja Gazeta with a run of copies 15 000. 33 pages. Poor condition,some pages are cut out,tears on the spine and cover edges,browning,pencil marks.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
