The cover features a photo of People's House named after Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht in Leningrad (to the 25th anniversary of the People's House) by Skvorcov. The issue includes articles on the preparations for the summer season; the production of the play Third Front with the illustrations by Rochergin; musical novelties; quartet competition; Academic Maly Opera Theatre; international play productions; drama workshops at different workplaces; the role of cinema and its place in other arts,and its goals; various theatres and film reviews. Published by the publishing house Leningradskij Gublit,printed by Krasnaja Gazeta with a run of copies 15 000. 33 pages. Poor condition,some pages are cut out,tears on the spine and cover edges,browning,pencil marks.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
