Soviet Magazine Red Field,issue number 27,3rd July 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A vivid painting on the front cover entitled ‘In the Steel Workshop’ by Y Pimenov,a painting by N Cimonovich-Efimov of peasant girl in a traditional festival dress on the back cover. This edition includes an illustrated story by N Tihkonov,and another by C Podyachev entitled ‘The Young’. It also features a section detailing recent events in China and an extended feature on Clara Tsetky. List of artwork inside: a large black and white photograph of Clara Tsetki; illustrations accompanying Tihkov’s story; cartoon on the back pages entitled ‘Foreign Humour’ taken from foreign magazines; full page illustration At the Docks by N Dormidontov. Fair condition,cuts and wear along the spine,faint stamp mark on the back cover,unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume,the bottom edge of the magazine has been cropped,covers are detached. 24 pages.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
