Original vintage Soviet constructivist magazine Science and Technology Nauka i Tehnika #4 January 1930. Nauka i Tehnika was a monthly magazine on scientific and technical breakthroughs in the USSR. The cover features a photograph of the electrified oil pumping at the field in Baku in the name of Kirov. Sergei Kirov was a Soviet politician and Bolshevik revolutionary,in 1921,Kirov became First Secretary of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan,the Bolshevik party organization in Azerbaijan. What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
