The cover features a still from the film October: Ten Days That Shook the World (Oktyabr': Desyat' dney kotorye potryasli mir),a 1927 Soviet silent historical film by Sergei Eisenstein and Grigori Aleksandrov,produced by Sovkino. It is a celebratory dramatization of the 1917 October Revolution commissioned for the tenth anniversary of the event; the back cover features a still from the film Trial mobilization (Probnaja mobilizacija),director Alexander Levshin. What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
