Original vintage Constructivist film magazine Soviet Screen Sovetsky Ekran #2 January 1929. It was a weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. The front and back cover feature stills from the film Under the vaults of the mosque,produced in Uzbekistan in 1926 and directed by Casimir Gertel. The issue includes the articles about the films Ukhaby by Abram Room,a Russian film director,Don Diego and Pelageya by Yakov Protazanov,a Russian and Soviet film director and screenwriter; the film The Circus,a 1928 silent film written,produced,and directed by Charlie Chaplin; Khaspush,a 1928 Soviet Armenian drama and war film,directed by Hamo Beknazarian; various advertisements and film reviews. Published by publishing house Teakinopechat,15 pages. Poor condition,spine and some pages are loose,several pages stuck together,tears,browning.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
