Issue #19 of Stroyim (We Are Building) magazine,a constructivist photojournalism publication. Published 1937. This is a great issue - one article focuses on the Magnitorsk Metallurgical Kombinat with striking photos of the facility,with workers welding metal and operating machines. Another article focuses on developments to the metro system; photos show workers in the metro tunnels,carving patterns in station ceilings,fixing lights on the platforms,and three train drivers in the cab of a train. Good condition,folded horizontally,browning on edges,foxing,minor tears on edges.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
