Stepanova,Soviet avant-garde artist,representative of constructivism,designer and poet. Works are: posters,fold out map of Mayakovsky's travels abroad,illustrations to poems,picture of the author. Published by Gosizdat "Hudozhestvennaya Literatura",300 000 copies. Good condition,staining and rubbings of the cover with losses of material along the edge and on the spine. Small pencil remark on the cover. Pen handwriting on the flyleaf and on the last pages on the book. Cancelled library stamps on the first page. 536 pages.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
