Issue No. 19 (112) of Красноармеец (Krasnoarmeyets - 'Red Army Soldier') published 5 October, 1927. Krasnoarmeyets was a monthly military literary and art magazine, issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense from April 1919 to 1947, when it changed names. The magazine continued publication under various titles until 1997. This issue contains cartoons and drawings by K Rotov and N Kurganov, with cover artwork by V Efanov. Includes an illustration of 'Do's and Dont's in Battle' demonstrating how soldiers should camouflage themselves, an article on modern machine guns with diagrams, and a feature titled 'Visiting the Red Front in Germany'. Very good condition, staining, minor creasing, tear along the spine, creasing.
